The InnoSepra Team 

The InnoSepra team has a wide range of experience in technology development and commercialization having taken more than 50 technologies from the lab and bench scale to commercial scale for The BOC Group.  The technologies include production and purification of carbon dioxide and other industrial gases, and use of industrial gases for various applications. 

Dr. Ravi Jain, Founder and President (Ph.D., Chemical Engineering, The University of Michigan)

Dr. Jain is a former Section Director and Technology Fellow for The BOC Group and has invented and commercialized more than 25 technologies in industrial gases production and purification areas during his career at The BOC Group. These technologies utilized membranes, adsorption, and reaction-based processes. At InnoSepra, he has created a number of technologies in carbon dioxide capture, biogas purification, and Direct Air Capture. InnoSepra's development work has been funded by The State of New Jersey, National Science Foundation, Department of Energy and the California Energy Commission as well by investments by large companies and InnoSepra. He has more than 50 U.S. patents and several hundred international patents and over 100 publications/presentations. 

Dr. Norberto Lemcoff, Head of Technology (Ph.D., Chemical Engineering, Imperial College)

Dr. Lemcoff has more than 35 years of experience in R&D management and technology commercialization at The BOC Group, United Technologies, and InnoSepra. He was Principal Engineer both at The BOC Group and United Technologies. Dr. Lemcoff has more than 20 U.S. patents, several commercialized technologies related to PSA and VSA and published extensively in this area.

Mr. Robert Ferrell, Vice President Business Development (M.S., Mechanical Engineering, The University of Pennsylvania)

Mr. Ferrell is a former VP-Business Development for The BOC Group where he was responsible for the development of various pollution control technologies including an ozone-based NOx control technology (LoTOx). This technology has been commercialized in a number of refineries and power plants. He also did extensive work in pollutants control area at URS and at AECOM.

Dr. Stevan Jovanovic, Head of Engineering (Ph.D., University of Belgrade)

Prior to joining InnoSepra Dr. Jovanovic was a Technology Expert at The Linde Group and a Lead Engineer at The BOC Group. He has extensive experience in CO2 capture and energy areas and was a key member of Linde's CO2 Capture Team. He has a number of patents and publications in the areas of absorption and reaction-based separations.

Mr. Abhinav Jain, Chief Financial Advisor (Bachelor's in Chemical & Biological Engineering, MIT; MBA, Wharton School of Business, The University of Pennsylvania) has worked for a number of years in Investment Banking, Private Equity and Hedge Funds. He brings his wealth of experience in technology and business areas to InnoSepra's financial and partnership activities.
